Thomas is the son of our friends Megan and Dennis. (Dennis performed our wedding ceremony - thanks again, Dennis) Thomas and I share the same birthday and I wanted to make something special for his big day this year. He loves dogs and refers to them all as 'Ouffs.' So I made this Ouff wearing a 'T for Thomas' sweater.
Thomas already has lots of ouffs, so to ensure that the new Ouff would make friends quickly, I outfitted him with a little green backpack marked with a bone. Inside were several felt bones to share with the other ouffs. Megan reports that the plan worked - Ouff and his tasty treats were accepted quickly into the pack.
